1Boy4Change is sending Walmart Gift Cards to the family. I have learned that Amy makes all of Lucas's Birthday cakes :-) Amy lost all of her baking equipment in the fire (mixers, bowls, pans,etc) So, I am sending gift cards so she can go shopping!

Please remember one of our local police officers in your prayers. He and his family lost their house to a fire today. He works for the Alcoa Police Department. No one was hurt, but they lost everything. Donations can be given to the Alcoa Police Department. Clothing sizes are: Boy pant sizes 6 and 7, Boy shirt sizes 5/6 and 7/8. Any donations either clothing, monetary donations, or gift cards will be greatly appreciated.

Everyone has been so generous with the donations and I'm still getting people wanting to know what to get us so I thought a FB post might help.... We need house stuff like hampers, hangers, rubbermaid tubs, furniture, shoes (women 9, men 12, boys 11/12 and 13/1), ziplock bags, iron, mixer, toaster, etc. Thank you again!

Happy New Year to everyone! I am looking forward to "moving mountains" in 2012! I am "training" with Bronx and my Mom for my first ever 5K! I want to complete it NOT using a wheelchair (usually anything with any kind of distance I have to use a wheelchair because my muscles and joints don't hold up). I am currently walking 1 mile every other day and I am hoping to build up to the whole 5K!
Anyway, here is the link to my team. I am trying to raise $2000 in donations (they are offering some very cool prizes for me if I do)! If you can help - great and if not, great too - just pray for me to be able to complete the 5K would be very helpful :-)
