Lunch and Learn Event

We encourage you to attend our FREE Lunch and Learn Seminar on "Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Awareness" on Thursday, July 31, 2014, 11:30am – 1:00pm, at the Georgia Department of Labor, Brunswick Career Center, 2517 Tara Lane, Brunswick, GA. The event is free and open to the public and lunch will be provided, but reservations are required as space is limited. Call Mary Brown at 264-7244 by July 29.

Our discussion panel will provide a brief overview of the ADA and highlight ADA requirements for service animals, employment, business and more.

K9 First Aid Kits1Boy4Change is partnering with "We Ride To Provide" to provide K9 First Aid Kits to Police K9 Handlers. Each kit costs $85.00 and provides the Police K9 Handler with the following:

alcohol - for cooling
peroxide - make dog vomit if they ingest poison
2 hemostats and 1 pair of scissors
thermometer
syringe for the peroxide
Benadryl (bee stings/snake bites)
triple antibiotic ointment
eye wash
toxiban
wound wash

tampon (for gunshot wound)
kotex (to apply to heavy bleeding areas)
roll of thick gauze
stack of gauze to aid in applying pressure
roll of vet wrap
one of our "Where Is My K9" stickers
muzzle
all in a heavy duty tote
refills provided if items are used
