The Warrior Beads Program IS NOT just colored plastic beads! These beads mean so much to the participants, their families and their friends! These beads tell a story about a journey through health challenges - the good days and the bad days. These colored plastic beads matter!

"You made my son a set of warrior beads and due to some craziness, I only just opened the mailbox and got them this morning. They made me cry. They couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I was having a hard time because he has been sick and lost weight he couldn't really spare (he was considered failure to thrive shortly after he was born). Seeing his warrior beads reminded me of how far he has come and that he'll overcome this hurdle too.
I know his struggles aren't as severe as many of the others who request warrior beads, but it means so much that you made them for him. The lion you picked out is perfect, by the way. The guardian angel I asked for because I lost a baby before conceiving my son and I like to think she's his guardian angel (probably not the intent of the bead, but it was fitting for me).
This got longer than intended. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to the day he is old enough to understand his beads as well as your kindness and generosity."
