The Magic of Warrior Beads

Through the Warrior Bead program - you will tell your medical story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones you have achieved along your unique treatment path. The Warrior Bead Program is open to anyone that has a medical journey to share - no age limitations, no illness limitations, and "Survivors" welcome! The only thing that is asked of you... "if" you are receiving Bravery Beads or Beads of Courage then please do not apply for this program too.

What a beautiful example of playing it forward! I have epilepsy myself and have had a major brain surgery in 2012 to control them. It failed, that same year a small Shit Zu I rescued from the pound , started alerting to my epilepsy right away! I had him obedience trained and licenced as an emotional support dog. My doctor even signed off on him as a support/service animal for me. He has spent some time in the hospital with me, never leaving my side. He is always by me, even shadows me around my apartment. I can't even imagine I made it through my whole life with out a service animal till 2012. I'll never be without one again. They really make a difference in peoples lives and so is what your doing too ! Thank you !
